Clinical Psychologist

Tugce Bagci Ozbek is a psychotherapist and the founder of Delphora, offering a reflective and compassionate space for individuals and couples who wish to engage in a deeper inner journey.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with honours at Bogazici University in Turkey and spent a year as an exchange student at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where she continued her research studies. Her curiosity about human experience has also led her to pursue further studies in International Relations and Elderly Care, expanding her understanding of the individual within wider social and life contexts.
Tugce earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University, where she specialised as a Couple and Family Therapist. She is currently continuing her second master’s degree at the Tavistock Clinic in London, in Perinatal, Child, Adolescent and Family Work: A Psychoanalytic Observational Approach. Through her ongoing infant observation work, she finds that observing a baby offers a unique window into understanding the emotional life of the adult.
Over the years, Tugce has worked in various counselling centres, hospitals, and community projects, providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, as well as voluntary support to diverse groups within society. In Turkey, she contributed to the establishment of the Psychological Counselling Unit at Adiguzel Vocational School and later coordinated the Couple and Family Centre (ÖzÜÇAM) as its founding psychologist at Ozyegin University for nearly six years.
Now based in London, Tugce works with adults and couples in long-term psychotherapy, both in person and online with clients from different countries. Her work is rooted in a psychodynamic understanding, while also integrating Systemic perspectives, PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy), and Somatic Experiencing.
Alongside her therapeutic work, she provides individual and group supervision for professionals and offers birth preparation and perinatal support for expectant parents, focusing particularly on the couple relationship during the transition to parenthood.
Tugce is a member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS, graduate membership no: 678535) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP, registered membership no: 01025225) in the UK, as well as the Turkish Psychological Association and the Turkish Family Therapy Association. She continues her own psychoanalytic process and has received ongoing supervision since the beginning of her professional life.
